Today, he shares his journey with us and gives us a glimpse into his role within Staffmatch.
Passion for Management and Hospitality
Alexandre's career path might seem classic at first glance: hotel management school, followed by various positions within the hospitality sector.
Yes, nothing exceptional, you might say. However, it's his particular fondness for this sector that makes his journey so interesting.
Alexandre took his first steps in the catering sector as a kitchen assistant right after graduating from high school.
It was love at first sight. He discovered a dynamic, multicultural environment with somewhat unusual hours."But when you're young, it doesn't bother you too much," he explains.
Following this experience, he oriented his studies towards hospitality and catering, specializing in luxury and hotel management at the Vatel school."I had the chance to do many internships: in service in a gourmet restaurant and even in a luxury resort in Thailand as assistant director of the F&B (Food & Beverages) department."A formative experience that allowed him to discover management."I had the opportunity to manage staff schedules, follow up with clients, and train a small team on the fundamentals of wine culture!"
In 2020, he rediscovered the hotel sector as a sales representative for various hotels in Paris, which marked a before and after in his professional career. The less physically demanding work pace and the complete management of a project gave him a new and innovative perspective that immediately attracted him to the sales profession.
In January 2021, he received a call from an unknown number. "Mr. Ménétret speaking? We're calling you from Staffmatch."Alexandre's profile had piqued the curiosity of our HR team and our CEO, Vincent Rech. In full growth, the company continued to develop rapidly despite the difficulties caused by COVID. We needed talents with real expertise in their corresponding sectors, in Alexandre's case, Hospitality, Cafe, Restaurant (HCR).
Intrigued, Alexandre accepted an interview, even though he had no experience in the temporary work sector.
"You know, I go with my gut feeling," he explains with a smile. Two weeks later, he was at Staffmatch.
Over the next two years, Alexandre evolved within the company, and in 2023 he became the Team Leader Sales for the DELTA team. This transition felt natural to him and was done transparently with the members of his team.

Missions and Responsibilities
As Team Leader Sales, Alexandre is responsible for the overall management of a sales team: finding and retaining new clients and searching for new temporary work gems are on the agenda! Ensuring client satisfaction is his essential role.
🚀 "To ensure the quality of our services, I like to visit clients. Being on-site allows me to truly grasp their situation and needs. It also fosters moments of sharing, which in the end is at the heart of my job. Empathy is a major pillar of the sales sector."
Being a Team Leader is a two-dimensional role. Alexandre also ensures the development of his sales team. His mission? To create a positive environment and help each team member set goals and achieve them by monitoring their performance daily.
"Team Delta is a dynamic and ambitious team. Our cohesion between recruiters, operations managers, and business developers allows us to respond effectively to all the requests of our clients and temporary workers. Our permanent good humor allows us to take on all new challenges with joy and determination. A real pleasure every day."
Alexandre adds, with a knowing wink: "Although I admit that lunches with clients or invitations to the Stade de France from time to time add a very pleasant touch to the task."

For the Little Anecdote
Speaking of perseverance, Alexandre shares a little anecdote."I spotted a company in the logistics sector where I saw great potential for a collaboration with Staffmatch."However, overcoming the initial obstacles to establish contact with them proved to be a real challenge. Alexandre called the head office several times and sent an avalanche of emails (it must be admitted). Yet, despite all his efforts, success seemed to elude him.
"I'm not the type to give up, so I kept pushing. The potential was there, I just needed someone to answer the phone!"
A year later, Alexandre received a phone call late on a Friday afternoon."Being called back on a Friday at the end of the day can only be excellent or very bad news. I'll let you guess which one it was!"
It was the warehouse manager, finally calling Alexandre back. She offered him a tour of the company's new warehouse. Without hesitation, Alexandre crossed all of Paris for this opportunity."I love going on adventures," he says, laughing.
During the visit, the collaboration between the two companies became increasingly obvious to both the manager and Alexandre.
At the end of the meeting, the manager asked, "When can we start?"
A victorious smile lit up Alexandre's face, his eyes sparkling with excitement: "Whenever you want."
"This experience was a real adrenaline rush and resulted in a long-term collaboration with this company. We were very proud. It was one of our biggest gambles that paid off!"
