At Staffmatch Strasbourg, the management style of Loubna Fouka, our agency manager, is distinguished by a unique blend of kindness, reactivity, and professionalism.
Today, she is kind enough to share her journey and her advice for mastering her own professional development!
Recruitment and Human Resources Expertise
Although Loubna took her first steps in the world of temporary work in October 2021 by joining Staffmatch, her professional career has always been oriented towards human resources. After starting law studies, Loubna quickly turned to this field.
"I always wanted to keep that legal aspect that I had discovered during my first degree, but orient myself towards people," Loubna explains with a big smile on her face. "That's why after my law degree, I undertook a professional degree in Human Resources! It was exactly what I was looking for."
After finishing her studies, she worked as a Training Project Manager for a real estate brokerage company specializing in credit. "I had the opportunity to set up, manage, and develop an internal training program for the company. There were plenty of things to do, such as creating the catalog or even managing new arrivals to the company!"
But with a curious nature and a desire for new experiences, Loubna decided to leave for a year to travel around the world. "I left with a backpack and a thirst for adventure." From Spain to Colombia, passing through Italy, Guatemala, and Mexico, this experience greatly marked Loubna.
🌎 "The human connections I made around the world greatly impacted me. You can truly find kindness everywhere."
A Mastered Professional Development
In 2021, after returning from this trip, Loubna joined Staffmatch shortly after the opening of the Strasbourg agency, as a recruitment officer. "What made me choose Staffmatch is that it is a young, modern company that places a lot of importance on people."
🚀 "When I arrived, I knew nothing about temporary work, I didn't know if I would like it," she admits. "But I quickly discovered that temporary work, once you try it, you stay!"
Having always had an appetite for sales and customer relations, Loubna decided to go even further in her missions. "I arrived at the right time, there was everything to do in the agency!" she explains.
Her efforts did not go unnoticed, and a year after her arrival, she evolved to become an operations officer. "The two positions share similarities, which made the transition from one position to the other easy and natural."
During the following year, thanks to numerous small victories with temporary workers and our clients, the position of agency manager naturally opened up for Loubna, whose leadership skills were undeniable.
Charismatic and always proactive, Loubna's evolution as an agency manager seemed obvious to the group, which quickly offered her the position.
"When I joined Staffmatch, I immediately perceived the possibilities for evolution, both within the Strasbourg agency and throughout the Alsace region. The trust quickly granted by my manager and the sector manager was a real driving force for me.
This recognition encouraged me to seize all the opportunities that came my way!" Loubna explains.
🚀 Having held two different positions before becoming an agency manager gives Loubna a 360-degree view of the needs of both her clients and her team for the smooth operation of the agency.
"Having been a recruitment officer and then an operations officer allows me to have an understanding of the field and the issues that the members of my team may encounter, which helps me to better guide and motivate them," Loubna explains, her eyes sparkling.
Loubna recognizes the work atmosphere at Staffmatch as one of the essential keys to her evolution within the company. "I feel supported. At Staffmatch, even though there are a large number of employees at the national level, we are always supported by the various sector managers or regional directors!" she says with a smile. "We have real tools that allow us to master the temporary work environment, train ourselves, and grow within the company."
🔎 For all those who wish to or are in the process of professional development, Loubna offers a little advice: "Don't hesitate to be curious! If you are lucky enough to have a team that trusts you, don't hesitate to broaden your missions and seize new opportunities!"
The Role of an Agency Manager
As an agency manager, Loubna has three main missions:
✅ Managing a team
✅ Finding new clients and following up with them
✅ Ensuring client satisfaction
Loubna also participates in temporary recruitment and loves being in the field. "It gives me the opportunity to share moments with temporary workers and to fully understand their work environment!"
For Loubna, the newest part of the "Agency Manager" position is managing a team. "My priority is to manage my team well: motivate them and help them evolve, just as I have been able to do throughout my career at Staffmatch."
As an agency manager, Loubna acts as a mediator between sector managers, the agency's sales and recruitment team, temporary workers, and clients. It is a position where communication is crucial.
😉 Expert advice: "I believe that to be a good agency manager, you need to know how to communicate. Communication generates many qualities such as transparency and kindness within your team."
