From June 16 to 20, 2025, Staffmatch is partnering with its health partner Alan to celebrate the National Week for Quality of Life and Working Conditions (QWCT), led by Anact (the French National Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions). This event reminds us that QWL (that is, all the organizational, social, and material conditions that allow employees to give their best without compromising their health) is primarily based on continuous dialogue about work. When taken seriously, QWL leads to a decrease in stress and sick leave, increased team engagement, and, according to studies, a gain in productivity. Our partnership with Alan fits precisely into this logic: making health and well-being resources available just a click away to boost individual energy and team cohesion, starting this week.
Understanding QWL: A comprehensive framework, not just a slogan
Talking about QWL means addressing physical and mental health, work-life balance, recognition, autonomy, and skills development. A concrete approach begins by listening to pain points (workload, sometimes unclear organization, material discomfort) to build suitable solutions with employees. This co-creation strengthens trust, reduces turnover, and serves the company's social responsibility: an employee who feels good in their position naturally becomes the most credible ambassador for their employer brand.
What Staffmatch is implementing
At Staffmatch, QWL starts with constant attention to health: through our partnership with Alan, everyone has easy access to digital health services and personalized well-being advice. We also encourage our teams to stay active daily by promoting small actions that fit naturally into their work rhythm.
During the QWCT Week, this commitment transforms into a true “Boost Week” orchestrated within the Alan app: five days punctuated by mini-challenges that are easy to start and integrate into the schedule.
One day, the team is invited to walk and exchange a few ideas during the lunch break.
The next day, the app offers a short series of squats to energize the legs in the morning.
A little later in the week, a quick back stretch, which can be done without any equipment, helps everyone release built-up tension.
With each participation, employees earn well-being points, strengthening both cohesion and collective energy without disrupting the organization.
Commitments that go beyond QWL week
Beyond this one-time event, our commitment to QWL is a long-term one. We regularly evolve our organizational methods, our prevention actions, and our managerial support to stay in tune with the needs expressed on the ground. Once a year, we also conduct a major satisfaction survey with ChooseMyCompany; this anonymous and comprehensive barometer provides us with a precise snapshot of QWL as it is actually experienced by our employees.
The results serve as a guiding thread to adjust our priorities, experiment with new ideas, and progressively anchor a culture where quality of life at work becomes a shared habit rather than an isolated initiative.
