At Staffmatch headquarters, our operations officer, Lola Le Bail, brings her good humor to our offices in Levallois-Perret. With a strong professional background in retail, Lola efficiently manages operations in the retail and logistics sectors, while building strong relationships with her clients and temporary workers!
Retail Expertise
"Before arriving in the recruitment field, I worked for 5 years in retail," Lola begins to explain.
Lola took her first steps in retail as a part-time sales advisor. At the same time, she studied theater. Between performances and staging, Lola developed her artistic creativity and her passion for dramaturgy.
Her extroverted nature and rigor allowed her to evolve quickly within the store where she worked. In a few months, Lola went from sales advisor to assistant store manager.
Naturally, Lola became increasingly involved in retail and sales, where she found a dynamic and interesting work environment.
"I wanted to continue on this path. I wanted to join a company, and while doing some research, I came across Staffmatch."
Intrigued by the operations officer position (which she admits she didn't fully understand when she applied), it was rather the online reviews that made her want to join the company. "The reviews were positive, and I thought that maybe I had found the caring company I was looking for."
Lola joined the Staffmatch team and quickly felt at home. "What I like most about Staffmatch is its welcoming atmosphere. The company gives us the chance to evolve even if we come from completely different backgrounds. Juniors, seniors, or if you are undergoing professional retraining, everyone has a chance here."
Role and Missions
Lola is in charge of one of the most essential operations for launching a temporary assignment: matching.
"Matching simply means finding gems among our temporary workers and connecting them with the client, that is, the company for which they will carry out their assignment," Lola explains.
🚀 "It's not just about finding a profile that has the required skills, you have to go further. Has this temporary worker already worked in similar companies? Are they interested in luxury or do they prefer to work in large retail spaces? The small details make the difference for the assignment to be successful. It can even lead to long-term collaborations of a temporary worker within the same company or even the signing of a permanent contract (CDI)!"
Her role as operations officer also includes client follow-up. "It's about establishing a real relationship of trust between Staffmatch and our clients. I learn about their requests, their needs, and their level of satisfaction."
The operations officer position requires great versatility, and Lola recognizes that her experience in retail is a strength when carrying out her missions. "Having a good knowledge of the retail trades and sector, I can really provide insights, both from the client's and the temporary worker's perspective."
🌟 What Lola loves most about her job: "My position leads me to meet a lot of different people. A bit like with theater, I am in constant contact with people, and that's what I love."
