See job offersAt the end of September, Staffmatch's annual seminar took place in Chantilly. On the agenda? Annual presentation, teambuilding, and the opportunity to get together for a beautiful festive evening, masterfully orchestrated by our seminar committee.
A Weekend for Everyone to Reunite
Organizing a seminar for your company has, nowadays, become an almost indispensable practice in the world of work. Whether it's to bring your employees together, strengthen team cohesion, or highlight the values that the company conveys, one thing is certain: holding a seminar always improves team cohesion.
As a collaborator, participating in the seminar allows you to meet your colleagues in a setting different from work, or at least, almost. It's the perfect opportunity to put a face to those colleagues with whom you've exchanged dozens of emails but may never have met in person. You might be pleasantly surprised to discover that they are just as charming as they are professional, or even share common interests.
🤝 This discovery strengthens professional ties by anchoring them in authentic human relationships.
Organizing a seminar is also an excellent way to break away from the office routine. Yes, we all know: routine is necessary and inevitable in the office. Thus, changing the atmosphere once or twice a year gives all employees the opportunity to recharge while strengthening their professional ties.
For this year's seminar, Staffmatch chose Chantilly. With its picturesque charm, green spaces, and magnificent estate, the setting was an obvious choice. The collaborators were warmly welcomed at the Hôtel Mercure Chantilly, one of the brands of the ACCOR group, one of our clients.
The hotel service and its employees (among whom we had the chance to meet some of our temporary workers!) offer quality service, the mastery of elegance and professionalism being evident.
The hotel, blending 19th-century classicism and modernity, also served as the setting for the company's plenary session, led by Manon Martin and Antony Ayari. Collaborators from each department presented their role, missions, and objectives for the coming year!
These presentations allowed the teams to better understand the responsibilities and objectives of each of the company's divisions, thus strengthening team cohesion.
On Your Marks... Get Set? Go!: Teambuilding in Chantilly
But the seminar was not limited to walks through the cobblestone streets and French gardens. Collaborators were invited to choose from three teambuilding activities, each offering the opportunity to develop essential skills for the professional world.
🏰 Visit to the Château de Chantilly: Arousing Curiosity
The visit to the majestic Château de Chantilly highlighted curiosity and attention to detail. Accompanied by a guide, participants were encouraged to explore the castle and immerse themselves in its history. This curiosity fostered a spirit of constant learning, a valuable quality in the ever-evolving professional world. In addition, attention to detail was crucial, as collaborators had to notice the architectural elements, works of art, and historical features that made the castle unique.This ability to notice details and appreciate them is also essential in the business world, where precision and attentive observation are key assets for solving complex problems, while enjoying a magnificent place.
🚣 Boat Race: Teamwork and Stress Management
The boat race highlighted teamwork and stress management. Participants had to collaborate effectively to move their boat forward, coordinating their movements and quickly adapting to changing situations. The teams were composed of collaborators from all regions of France and occupying a variety of positions, such as agency managers, communication officers, mobile developers, data analysts, business developers, and operations managers.Their common mission? To work together to reach the finish line in the shortest possible time. The competition also highlighted stress management, as participants had to prove their ability to manage emotions and remain calm in the heat of the race.
🏌️ Golf: Communication and Precision
Golf, for its part, reinforced communication and precision. Participants had to communicate effectively with their partner to plan their shots, discuss strategies, and execute their game with precision. Precision is essential in golf, and this highlighted the importance of focus, coordination, and communication to achieve common goals. These skills are also transferable to the world of work, where clear communication and precision are major assets.
🚀 These teambuilding activities in Chantilly offered collaborators a unique opportunity to develop and refine their skills in curiosity, attention to detail, teamwork, stress management, communication, and precision.
The Joy of Living Staffmatch: Music, Dance, and Teamwork
At the end of the busy day and after a well-deserved break, the collaborators brought the 2023 seminar to a beautiful close with a festive evening.
🎤 The seminar could not end without the StaffAwards results. Presented by two rising stars from our sales department, Alexandre Ménétret and François Vignon, the nominations and awards were delivered amidst applause, laughter, and above all, immense shared pride.
🌟 The distinctions awarded during the StaffAwards were based on the year's statistics, reflecting the work of the agencies and their collaborators. Titles such as "Best Regional Agency" and "Best Business Developer" were earned thanks to exceptional performances.
It was an opportunity to highlight excellence within the company and recognize the efforts and internal talent of Staffmatch.
💃🕺After the awards ceremony, the dance floor came alive with the music of Céline Dion, Dalida, and other great classics of French music. A festive atmosphere perfectly balanced with the professional nature of the seminar. Collaborators had the opportunity to relax, share laughter, and show off their dancing skills.
In light of this memorable seminar, we are more motivated than ever for the year ahead. We look forward to seeing all the company's departments achieve their goals and to reuniting at the next seminar to create even more memorable moments with our colleagues.
