Staffmatch: 9 years of innovation and growth
It's been 9 years since the Staffmatch adventure began. To celebrate our anniversary, we're sharing 9 key moments in Staffmatch's history and its evolution.

But first... How did it all start?

Having extensive experience in the hotel industry and constantly using traditional temporary employment agencies, Vincent Rech had the idea to modernize the temporary work service, which he recognized as necessary for a majority of sectors but considered archaic. "The time I told myself something had to be done was when an agency sent me CVs by fax!" explains Vincent.
The idea of modernizing this sector led him to partner with his childhood friend, Brice Cournut. Together, they began to rethink the foundations of temporary work, laying the groundwork for what would become Staffmatch.

1. The creation of Staffmatch

In 2015, the first Staffmatch agency opened its doors in the Paris region. Our founders' vision? To revolutionize temporary work by making it more human, more accessible, and more efficient. Aware of the paramount importance of the human element in the recruitment field, they quickly understood that a purely digital approach would not suffice.
This is how Brice and Vincent developed the concept of phygital temporary work, an innovative fusion between the digital world and human proximity. This hybrid model offers both the advantages of modern technology and the personal connection with temporary workers and local businesses.
For Staffmatch, the modernization of temporary work goes far beyond simple digitalization; it also rests on a human transformation, highlighting relationships and commitment to each individual.

2. The opening of our temporary employment agency in Lyon

The following year, in 2016, Staffmatch reached a significant milestone with the opening of its first agency in Lyon. This was the beginning of a rapid and ambitious national expansion.
Lyon, with its economic dynamism and cultural diversity, proved to be the perfect choice to extend our national presence.

3. Creation of the Staffmatch mobile application

In 2020, Staffmatch took the digitalization of temporary work to the next level with the launch of the Staffmatch mobile application. Designed as a response to the changing needs of temporary workers and businesses.
With this innovation, Staffmatch makes temporary work accessible to everyone while preserving the essential human connection in recruitment.
With a simple click, temporary workers can now:
🗓️ Update their availability ✅ View available assignments ✒️ Sign their contracts ⏰ Complete their timesheets 💸 Request salary advances 📄 View their payslips

4. Annual seminars

Every year, the Staffmatch team comes together to share a unique and unforgettable moment: the annual seminar. These moments are opportunities to preserve the very essence of our corporate culture. Sharing moments together is a way to emphasize our commitment to our core values: team spirit, human focus, and care.
One of the most memorable seminars was the one in 2022 in Aix-en-Provence, a privileged moment where we strengthened our bonds and reaffirmed our commitment to a corporate culture that puts people at the center of everything.

5. 100 million euros in revenue

The year 2022 was also when we reached a significant milestone by achieving a turnover of 100 million euros! An accomplishment that was much more than just a financial achievement. It was tangible proof of the trust our clients place in us and the unwavering commitment of our team to operational excellence. And this was just the beginning.

6. The creation of the Staffmatch loyalty program

In 2023, in an inflationary economic context, Staffmatch took a bold initiative: the launch of its loyalty program. Aware of the challenges posed by inflation, the company committed to offering much more than temporary assignments. Staffmatch became the first and only temporary employment agency to offer a comprehensive loyalty program, a true revolution in the sector!
The goal? To boost the purchasing power of our temporary workers and reward them for their loyalty. With our loyalty program, every hour worked translates into tangible benefits.
The more hours our temporary workers accumulate with us, the more rewards they accumulate, including financial benefits such as:

7. Over 300 employees and more than 40 agencies in France

In 2024, Staffmatch consolidated its position in France with the opening of more than 40 agencies across the country, thus offering quality service and local expertise to a growing number of clients and temporary workers.
Each new agency is an additional opportunity to better support our clients and temporary workers by meeting the specific needs of each region.

8. Our partnerships with OL and Clermont Foot 63: Staffmatch gets involved in sports!

We revisit two partnerships that marked our journey: our partnerships with Clermont Foot 63 and Olympique Lyonnais (OL). These collaborations were much more than simple sponsorship agreements; they represented deep commitments to our values and our communities.
As a major partner of these two teams, we strengthened our presence in these regions while supporting local sports. This partnership was an opportunity to offer new temporary employment opportunities to the community and promote social inclusion through sport.

9. New logo, same values: innovation and people

This May, Staffmatch is getting a makeover with a new logo while retaining its values of innovation and people.
As we celebrate our first nine years, we look to the future with optimism and determination. Over the years, Staffmatch has become more than just a temporary employment agency.
We have developed an engaged community of professionals and partners who share our vision of a more modern, equitable, and human-centered labor sector.
