What is a Salary Advance?
A salary advance consists of an early payment of a portion of your monthly remuneration.
☝️ Good to know: A salary advance differs from a salary loan because the amount paid corresponds to remuneration for work already done. Conversely, a salary loan is paid exceptionally for work that has not yet been performed.
Can I Get an Advance if I'm a Temporary Worker?
Yes, any employee who receives their remuneration monthly can request a salary advance.
You do not have to justify your request for an advance. You are therefore not obliged to inform your employer of the reasons that lead you to request an advance.
How to Request an Advance with Staffmatch?
Thanks to the Staffmatch application, the advance request is simplified and can be done in just three clicks:
📱 Access your personal space: Log in to your account or via the Staffmatch mobile application.
🤑 Navigate to the advances section: Go to the "Pay" tab, then select "Advances" and click on "New request" or "I request an advance" on the application.
Thus, there are certain criteria necessary for your advance request to be processed and approved.
- Requests are processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, processing is adapted according to the calendar (public holidays, bridges, etc.),
- There are no advances between the 5th and the 12th of the month,
- A temporary worker must have completed 10 hours of assignment in the month to be eligible for an advance,
- The assignment hours must be entered and validated, this means that the user company and the temporary worker must have completed the timesheets,
- The amount of the advance requested cannot be less than €100,
- The total amount of the advance represents up to 70% of the gross salary,
- The temporary worker must not have any overpayment or wage garnishment,
- No limit on the number of advances per month.
When and How Much Can I Request?
Advance requests are processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with adjustments depending on the calendar (public holidays, bridges, etc.). You can request up to 70% of your gross salary and there is no limit on the number of requests per month, offering great flexibility to manage your finances according to your needs.
